Tangara has a strong tradition in the Performing Arts. Student life is enriched by many musical ensembles and the opportunity to enrol in private instrumental and vocal lessons.

Peripatetic Music lessons run at Tangara during school hours, and before and after school. There are a range of individual private music lessons on offer, including violin, viola, cello, clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, piano, voice, flute, guitar and bass guitar.
